Sperry Pinot Blanc Grain de Sable 2021

Serve at 8° to 10°C

Ageing potential 2 to 3 years

Taste :

Light yellow wine with green reflection, clear and bright.

Nose with main aroma (fresh fruit)

We smell white flowers while retaining fruity notes.

In the end, we have an interesting wine with pleasant fresh fruit aromas.

Food Pairings :

Pinot Blanc pairs well with a variety of dishes.

It goes well with simple dishes, fish, white meat, poultry, egg dishes (omelettes, quiches). It can also be served with mild cheese (Gruyere cream, fresh square cheese, etc.).

Wine :

It is also known as Klevner (not to be confused with Klevener de Heiligenstein, which corresponds to the Savagnin rose grape variety) and is the white form of Pinot Noir.

It is also used to make our Alsace sparkling wine.

Terroir : Mostly granite

On the Vine : We farm our land using permaculture, that is, enhancing the positive impacts and reducing negative impacts of agricultural practices on the environment. It is an alternative between organic and conventional farming.

Wine Making :

- Press gently with pneumatic press

- Fermentation temperature is controlled between 16°C and 18°C

- No malolactic fermentation

- Aging in temperature-controlled stainless steel barrels (6 to 9 months) in order to best manage its production throughout the winemaking process
